Hair type 3: curly hair
Shiny, bouncy curls
The severity of type 3 curls depends on the length and structure of the hair. This variety of curls can sometimes make the hair appear messy and undefined. However, one positive side is the volume that curly hair usually brings. This hair type can also be...easier to style compared to Type 2 as it naturally has more bounce and support.
Curly hair is usually dry
Curly hair is often affected by drought. It tends to dry out quickly if not properly cared for. It is therefore particularly important to find the right moisturizer.
Hair type 3 is divided into three different subgroups that differ in the structure and shape of the curls:
Hair type 3a: Many large curls can be seen here, reaching a diameter of up to 2 cm. These curls are usually quite defined and can shine beautifully with good care.
